Dianne Miller's long career has included illustrating, writing, fine art, and design. She is the author and illustrator of the "Little Bunny series” www.littlebunnyseries.com , the author of several novels, an accomplished watercolorist, and an oil painter. Her work has been licensed for reproduction on numerous objects and products.
Dianne Miller graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History. She worked in historical interpretation, developing, writing, and illustrating programs for children and adults with the National Park Service, the Virginia State Parks, and the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities. Her work has been shown in dozens of galleries from Cape May, NJ, to Ocracoke Island, NC. She has had one-woman shows at the Richmond Public Library and the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.
Her fine-art watercolors include both plein-air and studio pieces. Her work in oil includes large-scale landscapes and contemporary still-lifes. Dianne Miller's work has been widely collected and reproduced.
Dianne continues to pursue commercial work, illustrating and creating images for products, while working on her fine art portfolio.
She lives in Virginia with her husband. Dianne’s work embodies a contemporary sensibility and an astute eye, reflecting her appreciation of beauty with an undercurrent of abstraction.
